A company that finds mold and then sells you the cleanup has an incentive that bends every report. We do not do remediation work. Our reports go to homeowners, real estate agents, attorneys, and insurance adjusters with lab-stamped results and a recommendation in plain English. If the test comes back clean, we say so. If it comes back showing remediation is warranted, we tell you that — and we hand you a list of qualified remediators we have no financial relationship with.
For unexplained symptoms or a musty smell with no visible mold: air sampling. For visible growth you want identified: surface sampling. For real estate: usually both. We can decide on the call.
Standard lab turnaround is 3–5 business days from sample collection. Rush turnaround (next-day or 24-hour) is available, typically for real estate timelines.
You can, and they are useful as a first signal. But DIY results are not admissible for insurance, real estate, or legal use because there is no chain of custody and no accredited lab record.
The report tells you what species and at what levels, and recommends remediation scope if any. We refer you to remediation companies we trust but do not work for. The decision and the contract are yours.
